Innovas Technologies takes the Win at the 2015 Pappajohn Iowa Entrpreneurial Venture Competition

The 2015 John Pappajohn Iowa Entrepreneurial Venture Competition came to a close on September 24 with the announcement of the winners at a special recognition luncheon at Drake University in Des Moines.

Innovas Technologies received first place and was awarded $25,000.  Combating one of the largest sources of energy waste in the country, Innovas Technologies designs, manufactures and distributes industry leading shell and tube cleaning technology.  The Helios Tube Cleaning System (TCS) provides continuous fouling prevention in the tubes of heat exchangers translating to savings in energy and maintenance.

Fanstreamm came in second place and was awarded $15,000.  Fanstreamm is a technology company in the sports and entertainment marketing industry that provides tools to help teams and venues leverage data to grow revenue. Their first product is a group platform that moves an analog process online.

Immortagen received third place and was awarded $10,000.  The future of cancer treatment lies in personalized medicine that uses each patient’s entire genetic profile and interprets those data to make the best treatment decisions for each individual patient. Immortagen’s solution is to offer Clinical Decision Support through proprietary predictive algorithms that determine the risk of recurrence and identify specific treatment options.
